A ban on texting while driving goes into effect Today in Cincinnati.
Police will begin enforcing the law, which prohibits sending or receiving text messages by cell phones or other devices while driving.
Motorists may not access the Internet while driving, but dialing a phone will not be considered a violation of the law
Drivers could be fined $100 for the offense.
